Peer-to-peer' handel in energie

Meer dan 30% van de opgewekte elektriciteit in de OECD-landen wordt verbruikt in woningen. Daarom is de betrokkenheid van kleinverbruikers belangrijk voor het verkrijgen van een duurzaam energiesysteem. Nieuwe achter-de-meter technologieën (zonnepanelen, opslag etc.) en moderne communicatie-infrastructuur maken directe handel tussen verbruikers mogelijk. Dit onderzoeksproject richt zich op het begrijpen van hoe zulke handelsnetwerken moeten worden opgezet, hoe hun waarde kan worden gemaximaliseerd en het effect ervan op het elektriciteitsdistributiesysteem.
