Papendal
The heart of Dutch top-class sport
Sports centre Papendal is the largest top-level sports training centre in the Netherlands. Today, more than 400 top athletes use our top facilities every day. Papendal has been in use as a training location for top sports since the 1970s. In 1971, the sports centre was officially opened by Princess Beatrix. In the years that followed, Papendal has changed enormously. Especially in the past decade, the sports centre has experienced a stormy development.
